Rallyteam Koops into trouble
The fifth rally started on Saturday at 12 pm in Etten Leur (The Netherlands). Rallyteam Koops, that is sponsored by Eminent, made real good progress during each of the tests. The car drove well and the team appeared to be in good shape. Everything went fine, until Rallyteam Koops suddenly got into real big trouble in the tenth test: a huge bang under the car, a failure of the power steering and problems with the dynamo. What was going on? The crank pulley appeared to be broken into pieces. Usually this never happens, so none of the teams had spare parts. Unfortunately, this was the end of the rally for our team! The team is very disappointed, but after the holiday break Rallyteam Koops will be ready for the second part of the season.
