If all other devices are able to connect to the wireless network, usually nothing is wrong with the router itself. However, there a few things you can try:

• Login to the router and change the channel of the wireless network (refer to the manual of the router how to log in) and save the settings. Try to connect the iOS 5 device afterwards

• If this does not work, you can change the network key of the router. Login to the router and change the network key and save the settings. Try to connect the ios 5 device afterwards. You can also try to set a less secure network type. For example: If you were using WPA2-AES, try to use WPA-PSK and save the settings *. Afterwards, you can connect the iOS 5 device again

• You can also completely reset the router and set the router again using the wizard on the supplied CD-ROM. Refer to the manual of the router for the explanation about setting up your router using the CD-ROM

* Note: When using WPA-PSK instead of WPA2-AES, the wireless transfer speed on your computer may become slower. WPA-PSK is not as fast as WPA2-AES.

Preferably, the cable needs to be as short as possible for maximum signal. Therefore, the cable which is supplied with the Eminent router needs to be used.

However, if you want to use a longer cable, make sure you are using a CAT5 or CAT6 cable. The maximum length is 3 meters.

1. First you will need to find the DNS addresses of your provider. On the following you will find the most providers : DNS Providers
2. Once noted, go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections
3. Here you will find the LAN-connection (if your computer is connected with a cable to your router) or your wireless connection which you work with.
4. Click on it with the right mousebutton and select Properties.
5. Double click on Internet protocol (TCP/IP) in the midst of your window.
6. In this new window you will find the option use the following DNS server addresses at the bottom, select it.
7. Now fill in the DNS data of your provider and click on OK.
8. The connection should work now.

3. On the leftside click on Control network connections.

7. In this new window you will find the option use the following DNS server addresses at the bottom, select it.
8. Now fill in the DNS data of your provider and click on OK.
9. The connection should work now.

3. At DNS-servers fill in the data (where the 3 dns addresses need to be separated with a comma).
4. Click on Apply.
5. The connection should work now.

3. Enter cmd.
4. Press the enter key or click OK.
5. Enter ipconfig.
6. Press the enter key.
7. You will now see the local IP address.

1. Click Start.
2. Go to Run.
3. Enter winipcfg.
4. Press the enter key or click OK.
5. You will now see the IP address or Automatic personal address.

1. Log in to the webpage of the router with http://192.168.8.1.
2. Go to Network under Advanced Setup and then click LAN/DHCP Server.
3. For example alter the IP-address to 192.168.6.1.
4. Click Apply & Restart to save the settings.
5. From now on, the GigaLINK 300N is accessible on the following address: http://192.168.6.1.

2. Go to Run.
3. Enter cmd.
4. Press the enter key or click OK.
5. Enter ipconfig /all.
6. Press the enter key.
7. You will see a physical address. This is the MAC address of your network adapter.

1. Click Start.
2. Go to Run.
3. Enter winipcfg.
4. Press the enter key or click OK.
5. You will see an adapter address which is the MAC address of your network adapter.
