This media converter can be used to convert 10/100Base-TX signal to 100Base-FX and is the ideal solution for an easy transfer from a copper signal to a fiber signal. The fail-safe solution ensures high quality signal transports over great distances without interferences. The EM4000 and EM4001 offer auto-negotiation and automatic cross-over detection on each TP-port. This media converter is also transparent to 802.1Q VLAN tagged packets, making it a professional solution for expanding networks.
